Pre-wedding sessions are a great way for couples to capture their love and personalities before the big day. And for many, their furry friends are an important part of that love story. As a wedding photographer, I've had the pleasure of capturing many pre-wedding sessions with dogs and I can tell you, they always add a special touch of fun and personality to the photos. This was surely the case for Christine and Anthony’s pre-wedding session.

Maria & Luke | Pre-Wedding | Birgu
Maria and Luke decided to have their pre-wedding photoshoot in the charming city of Birgu. They opted for just one location, which gave us ample time to fully explore Birgu and capture a wide variety of shots. From charming alleyways to breathtaking waterfront views, the city provided a diverse array of backdrops for their photos.
Despite Luke's initial hesitation about having his photos taken, he quickly found himself at ease in front of the camera. With Maria by his side, he was able to relax and have fun during the shoot.
Throughout the shoot, Maria and Luke were a joy to be around, and their fun-loving nature shone through in the photos. Hope you enjoy a snippet of their lovely pre-wedding!
Pauline & Bernard | Pre-Wedding | Valletta
Before their big day, Pauline and Bernard decided to have their pre-wedding photoshoot in the beautiful city of Valletta.
Valletta is a city rich in history and culture, and it provided the perfect backdrop for Pauline and Bernard's romantic pre-wedding photos. The couple strolled through the narrow, winding streets, taking in the stunning architecture and breathtaking views of the Mediterranean Sea.
As the sun began to set, we made our way to Hastings Gardens, for some golden hour shots. The gardens, with their lush greenery and breathtaking views, made for the perfect romantic setting.

Katherine & Bernard | Pre-Wedding | Aurora Theatre | Salt Pans
Katherine and Bernard had been planning their pre-wedding photo shoot for a couple of years. They chose the beautiful island of Gozo for their shoot and I was thrilled to join them. We started the day at the Aurora Theatre, a stunning venue located in the heart of Victoria. The theatre, built in the early 1900s, has a rich history and features intricate details such as marble staircases and ornate balconies.
After exploring the theatre, we made our way to the Salt Pans, a breathtaking location known for its crystal clear waters, and rugged coastline. The salt pans, which have been in operation for centuries, offer a unique and dramatic backdrop for photographs.
Katherine and Bernard were a joy to work with, their love and affection for each other shining through in every shot. I hope you enjoy these highlights from their pre-wedding photo shoot

Well, what a season 2021 was. And I couldn’t have finished better than with Grecia and Josef’s wedding. It was one of the loveliest days in December, the weather was still cold, but it was sunny all day long. Not something you would expect from a December Wedding. This was my first morning Wedding this year, and early in the morning we started off with getting ready photos at the groom and bride’s family homes.
Their wedding ceremony was at the Knisja l-Qadima, a beautiful small church in Santa Venera. Grecia and Josef picked Giardini Lambrosa to host their wedding reception, which happens to be a couple of minutes away from Mdina. We stopped at Mdina to take some couple portraits just before heading for the reception.

Desiree & Daniel | St Margaret College | Wedding
Desiree and Daniel are such a lovely couple, really laid back, relaxed with a great sense of humor. Their wedding was back in October, which happened to be one of the wettest months in 2021. Having planned an outside wedding, Desiree and Daniel had to do some last minute changes on their venue decor to install gazebos just in case a rainstorm happened on their big day. Not something you want to take care of on the day of your wedding.
Desiree and Daniel are such a lovely couple, really laid back, relaxed with a great sense of humor. Their wedding was back in October, which happened to be one of the wettest months in 2021. In spite of all this, their big day was magical. We started the day with Daniel where he had decided to get ready at his family home. A few hours later we were with Desiree and her bridal party, before heading to Santa Marija Chapel in Zurrieq. Just after the ceremony, we were lucky enough to be in the peak of golden hour, so we headed off to Wied iz-Zurrieq, to take some couple portraits.
We ended the day with a reception at St Margaret College in Birgu. Here are some of my favourite shots from Desiree and Daniel’s wedding.

I had the pleasure to photograph the big day of Jennifer and Fillippo.
Fillippo had his family fly to Malta from Italy, and we started off the day by taking some getting ready shots of the groom and his groomsmen at The Waterfront Hotel in Gzira. We then headed to Jennifer’s family home before making our way to the ceremony at St Catherine of Italy Chapel in Valletta. Valletta offers some stunning locations for photos, so we spent a couple of minutes in the Upper Barakka Gardens for some couple’s photos. Our final location was the magical Chateau Buskett.
